NILAI UNIVERSITY
OVERVIEW
Nilai University was established in 1997 (as Nilai College) as a private institution. It received the upgrade to ‘university college’ in 2008 before receiving full university status in 2012. Nilai University offers Foundation courses, Degrees, and Postgraduate studies. Putra Nilai is a modern township strategically located 20 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city centre. With their consistently high achieving ratings from Quality Assurance Agencies, Nilai University as well as its partners put in their effort to ensure that the programmes that are made available and taught in the institution meet the required standards.
Since its establishment several years ago, Nilai University has attempted to build more from its first step as a pioneer for its 3+0 degree course programmes to create their own diplomas. These courses have been validated by leading universities in countries such as in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Canada. Through this collaboration, international students also recognise the value of the courses offered here and they make up approximately 40% of the student population.
