Program Description

Their IELTS Malaysia preparation course is divided into 2 levels, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate. 

Both courses will cover the components tested in the IELTS Malaysia exam such as Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

 The Intermediate level focuses on building a strong foundation for your academic skills needed to sit for the exam as well as the basic knowledge on how to prepare for IELTS Malaysia.

 The Upper Intermediate Level will provide intensive skills enhancement learned at the previous level.

In addition, more advanced skills will be shared with the participants to equip them sufficiently in terms of preparation leading to the IELTS exam. 

Furthermore, the instructors will provide various exam tips and carry out exam simulations with the participants to show them what is it looks and feels like during the exam.

Who Should Sit For IELTS ?

As one of the most prominent and reliable English language tests, anyone irrespective of age, gender, race, nationality or religion can sit for IELTS test.

Program Description

The LEA English Summer Camp for middle and high school students is greatly encouraged for students who wish to experience a holiday of wonders and to study in Malaysia. Through this Summer Camp, the students will experience the wonders of Malaysia while they study English in Malaysia which is recognized internationally.

Their  programs cover the various language skills required to master the English Language and our students will get to learn in interactive classrooms where edutainment is the key ingredient in making their experience at LEA a memorable one. Study English while exploring the beauty of Malaysia would be an absolutely fantastic decision for any student to make.

Program Structure

LEA Summer Program runs in the beautiful tropical country of Malaysia and is open to international students aged 8 years old and above. 

A great way to learn to be away from home, to be independent while learning a new language, country, culture and food. Students are from all over the world such as Japan, Korea, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand and many more.

The program includes 25 hours English lessons per week (total 100 hours) as well as a complete, fully supervised recreational activity program with excursions.


Lessons take place in an International atmosphere targeting to improve English language skills through conversation (role-plays, games, discussions, etc.)

 listening and reading exercises and some writing tasks adapted to the participants’ age. 1 set of books of Textbook and workbook will be provided.

Students will take a placement test upon arrival and will be placed in their appropriate level class, from beginner to Advanced.

Weekend Activates

  • Weekend Excursions: Sunway Lagoon Water park, 3 days 2 nights Langkawi Island Trip, Batu Caves, KL Tower & Sky Deck, Monkey Hills and Fireflies Sightseeing, Aquaria Underwater World, Genting Highlands.

  • Weekday Excursions: 7 shopping malls, I-City,Jumpstreet, Central Market, KL Twin Towers Night View, I-city

  • Optional activities extra cost : 3 days 2 nights Singapore City Tour and Universal Studio.


  • Daily Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided, at Local (Malay, Chinese, Indian Cuisine) Restaurants or International (Western, Arab, Japanese, German, etc) Restaurants for students to experience different cuisines.

  • They cover 3 meals a day


Oak Residence – Located in the same building of the school. Students are allocated in different apartments by gender and availability.

Shared room: (2 beds per room)

Quadruple room: (4 beds per room)

Travel time to school: less than 5 minutes, as it is located in the same building.

Program Description

Part-Time English Program is an intensive multi-level program specifically catered to the needs of working adults.

 The English language learning process will follow a systematic and modular approach to allow our part-time students to be exposed to all aspects of language learning. 

Particular attention is paid to grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. 

The courses are designed to provide the students with maximum exposure to English through authentic, interesting and current subject matter.

Programme Structure

The ‘Part-Time English Program’ is based around the ‘Cutting Edge’ series of language learning materials.

It provides students with an intensive, yet enjoyable learning experience. 

Key course material will be researched and prepared carefully by our instructors using an extensive library of current teaching materials which further enhances students’ learning experience.

Before you sign up for this program, you are required to sit for a Placement Test to assess and confirm your current level of English language ability.

Our program progresses through five levels (2 months for each level) of academic study from Beginner to Upper-Intermediate. 

Throughout each level, students are required to sit for examinations to assess their progress and eligibility to progress for the next level.

They are to consult their respective instructors on the exam dates.

Level 1  (Beginner)

  • Understand and use basic English conversations in English.

  • Ask and respond to simple questions appropriately.

  • Develop sufficient vocabulary for simple everyday situations.

  • Use simple English language structures correctly with little basic mistakes.

  • Give personal information using correct grammar and vocabulary.

  • Read a very short text with correct intonation and pronunciation.

  • Link words or groups of words with basic connectors

  • Write short description or simple sentences based on pictures or simple events.

  • Write simple and compound sentences with correct punctuation and grammar.

Level 2 (Elementary)

  • Speak simple English with confidence

  • Expand knowledge of high-frequency words and phrases rapidly.

  • Remember and pronounce new vocabulary accurately

  • Communicate about related simple topics confidently

  • Orally respond to texts and listening activity by using grammar and vocabulary accurately.

  • Express basic descriptions of events or activities

  • Read comprehensibly with expected errors

  • Understand short texts and find relevant facts or information.

  • Understand the gist of what is being said based on variety of entertaining and realistic situations, and be able to make sense of connected speech.

  • write essays using simple, compound, and complex sentences.

Level 3 (Pre-Intermediate)

  • Speak English with confidence, with correct grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

  • Increase knowledge of high-frequency words and phrases.

  • Use new vocabulary in speaking and writing activities.

  • Engage in topics and stimulating texts.

  • Know what to say in typical situations and communicate English effectively.

  • Read comprehensibly and understand the main points of the texts.

  • Write a short paragraphs or report with clear descriptions of real or imaginary events and experiences expressing feelings and attitudes.

  • Write effective and coherent paragraphs.

Level 4 (Intermediate)

  • Revise and extend knowledge of the main grammatical structures and practice using different tenses together.

  • Consolidate and extend knowledge of functional language Develop a good range of vocabulary on most general topics.

  • Communicate various topics effectively and put new vocabulary into practice.

  • Know what to say in typical social situations.

  • Get used to listening to faster, more colloquial speech.

  • Build new words by adding prefixes and suffixes.

  • Read with relative ease, adapting style and speed of reading to different texts and purposes.

  • write clear, detailed texts on a variety of subjects related to areas of interest.

  • Write a clear descriptions of real or imaginary events and experiences, expressing feelings and attitudes.

  • Understand and apply the conventions of academic writing in English.

Level 5 (Upper Intermediate)
