Conditions for studying at the university
Admission requirements to MMU in Malaysia | |
For bachelor's degree applicants | Possessing a high school diploma with a grade point average of no less than 2.5 out of 4 or 63% out of 100% as a minimum. A stage A or stage O certificate with a grade of no less than 2 out of 4 or 50% out of 100% as a minimum. |
For applicants to master's degrees | Possess a bachelor’s degree related to the same field you wish to study in the master’s degree, with a grade point average of no less than 2.75 out of 4 or 70% out of 100% as a minimum. Note: Students with a GPA of 2 to 2.75 out of 4 may be eligible if they have work experience as per the university requirements in this case. |
For PhD applicants | Possess a master’s degree related to the same field you wish to study for the doctorate with a grade of no less than 2.75 out of 4 or 70% out of 100% as a minimum. |
Minimum language requirements required
- IELTS: 5.5 and 6 for master’s and doctoral levels
- TOEFL: 500 for the preparatory stage and 550 for all stages
