APU University Housing in Malaysia offers a variety of options for local and international students.
Some of the housing options available at the university:
- Campus housing: The university offers on-campus boarding accommodation, including single and shared rooms with shared facilities such as dining halls and sports facilities.
- Student apartments: In addition to on-campus housing, students can look for external apartments to rent in the surrounding areas, which provide privacy and independence.
- Homestay: Students can sometimes choose to stay with local families, which provides an opportunity to better understand Malaysian culture and improve language skills.
- Furnished apartments: Furnished apartments are available for rent that provide comfort and security for students.

Conditions for studying at the university
Admission requirements to APU University in Malaysia | |
For bachelor's degree applicants | Possessing a high school diploma with a grade of no less than 2 out of 4 or 50% out of 100% as a minimum. A stage A or stage O certificate with a grade of no less than 2 out of 4 or 50% out of 100% as a minimum. |
For applicants to master's degrees | Possess a bachelor’s degree related to the same field you wish to study in the master’s degree, with a grade point average of no less than 2.5 out of 4 or 62% out of 100% as a minimum. Note: Students with a GPA of 2 to 2.5 out of 4 may be eligible if they have work experience as per the university requirements in this case. |
For PhD applicants | Possessing a master’s degree related to the same field you wish to study for the doctorate with a grade point average of no less than 2.7 out of 4 or 65% out of 100% as a minimum. |
Required language requirements
- For the preparatory year stage, IELTS 5 or TOFEL 500
- For bachelor’s degree IELTS 5.5 or TOFEL 513
- For doctoral and master’s degrees, IELTS 6 or TOFEL 550
