The Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation known as(APU) is a privet university In Malaysia.
It was founded in 1993 as the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) and was renamed in 2004 after being granted University College status to Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI).
It has produced more than 40,000 graduates under APIIT With an international student community of more than 12,000 students from more than 130 countries studying in its Malaysian campus,.
APU provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the areas of information technology, media, business and engineering.
APU has opened overseas branches in India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, although has been partnered with Staffordshire University in the UK, and offers students the chance to study a Bachelor Degree in England.

APU was announced as among the Highest Rated Emerging Universities in Malaysia, being rated at 5-STAR (EXCELLENT Rating) under the SETARA 2017 Ratings by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
APU has maintained this Excellent Rating in the SETARA 2011, 2013 and now in 2017
The university and its students have received awards, such as the NAPEI Education Excellence Award 2007 (University Category), the Microsoft Imagine Cup Malaysia 2011, the Prime Minister’s Award for Industry Excellence 2011.

If you want to apply for an engineering program, you must pass mathematics , physics and chemistry during high school.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2 to 2.5 out of 4 , in a related field can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field

Accommodations & Facilities
There are 2 categories of housing for students at the new campus and they include;
Studio rooms with bathroom and shared kitchen that come as single beds or double beds and in different classes depending on the student’s taste and budget.
All rooms come with a bathroom installed with heating, water supply, and the rooms have an A/C, comfortable beds, shelves, reading tables and a wardrobe.
Kitchens are shared amongst other students with a large size fridge, stovetop, microwave, oven and a dining table.
5 rooms in an apartment with a shared kitchen that come as single beds or double beds in different classes depending on the individual taste and budget.
The cost of the different categories provided on campus ranges from MYR* 750 to MYR 1,100 paid on a monthly basis. Utilities such as wifi, cable tv, electricity, and housekeeping come at an additional fee depending on the usage.
APU has provided accommodation to all its students (local arrangement) on an off-campus arrangement with external housing agencies and bodies through the university’s student housing services.
However, since 2017, APU has on-campus accommodation present on the newly constructed and commissioned campus site at TPM.
The university has offered to house to its students at dormitory or apartment facilities located within close proximity to the university campus. These options are in different categories and for different prices at varied standards.
All dormitories or apartments come as single rooms or double rooms with a shared kitchen installed with many facilities, these apartments are of some form of luxury as services like internet wifi, heating, housekeeping and laundry are all fixtures that are readily provided. There is also a grocery store, a gym and camera surveillance at each facility building.
The price of rent at any of the known university off-campus houses come at a range of MYR 250 to MYR 1,900 paid on a monthly basis.
Note: please note that under this option, there is a safety deposit and utility fee paid before the student is allowed to move in.
